The Yuengling Family first began making gourmet ice cream back in 1920 when Frank Yuengling started a dairy business during Prohibition to help support America's Oldest Brewery. Yuengling Dairy Products proudly produced incredible ice cream from 1920 to 1985, serving up fond memories for generations of folks in and around Pennsylvania.

In 2014, after a near 30 year absence from store shelves, David Yuengling and Rob Bohorad revived the great tradition that is Yuengling’s Super Premium Ice Cream brand and an American classic was reborn. Continuing a long standing Yuengling Family tradition of delivering quality and value to its consumers, David and Rob painstakingly perfected a roster of flavor profiles and reintroduced regional retail sales in and around the Keystone State.
